CONTEST RULES and TIMES:
2:00 PM Competitors will be presented with the secret “inspiration” at the main stage. Public service also begins.
2:15 PM Competitors begin preparing their special dish from scratch.
5:30 PM Competitors will present their dish to the judges and explain its ingredients and how it relates to the inspiration. Relation to the inspiration can be as specific or abstract as the competitor chooses and the judges will determine a score from 1-5 in the categories of taste, presentation, originality, and relevance to the inspiration. Judges will deliberate.
6PM An award presentation will take place on the main stage. Awards will be given for first, second and third place.
Each winner will accumulate points at each event in the series. The series will culminate on December 14th at Canalside. The competitor who, at the end of the December 14th competition, has accumulated the most points, will be crowned Grand Champion.
